Hailing from the Brazilian countryside, the now Sheffield based singer-songwriter/visual creator Alissic is someone who is rapidly making a star of herself thanks to her unique charisma and impactul, raw-edged brand of indie pop.

Her latest release ‘Everybody’s Dead Inside’ continues to showcase the off-kilter appeal that the artist has. Co-written and produced with her husband Oli Sykes and fellow Bring Me The Horizon member Jordan Fish, the track feels both accessible and revitalisingly ambitious and modern, both endlessly melodic and unerringly eerie, showcasing the deftness with which the artist skirts with genre convention and expectation and laces it with her own distinctive personality and charm. ‘Everybody’s Dead Inside’ continues to showcase the creative ambition of an artist who wasn’t content merely working as a model, and wanted to do something more liberating and exciting.

Alissic says of the track “The song was made in two days in a dark room, I had a vision that I needed to say goodbye to my depressed self and say hello to the rainbow fairies.”
