“If ‘Good Kind of Hurt’ reaches just one person and pushes them to get help for themselves or a loved one, I’ll feel like the song is a success,” said Charlotte. “For years, my family grappled with addiction and all that comes along with it; even now, it’s still something that is ever present. Unlike some diseases where there’s a definitive cure, addiction never goes away – relapse could always be right around the corner. Sobriety is something that the person struggling with addiction, and their loved ones, have to work & fight for every single day.”
