It’s hard to sound fresh these days, but Glyclerin manage. Hailing from Seattle, the American duo return with new single ‘Nothing Lasts’.

Taken from their forthcoming debut EP Wish I Was You, the new single sees the band – namely Casper Slate and James Wayne – create a unique concoction with their blend of dreamy and lucid shoe gaze guitars and rich, chiming synths. Think The Horrors at their dark pop best topped off with a Warpaint-esque vocal, and you won’t be far off.

Inspired by Slate’s struggle with a mysterious disorder that sparks seizures, ‘Nothing Lasts’ focusses on “living in the moment before it’s too late”.

‘Nothing Lasts’ is available now. Glycerin’s debut EP Wish I Was You arrives soon.
