Indie pop artist AODHAN returns with infectiously uplifting new single ‘Empty Spaces’
Oozing with sun-soaked hooks, sparkling synths and shimmering harmonies, AODHAN once again creates a sound that will transport you straight into the sunshine.
Aidan is an eighteen year old Dhawaral songwriter from Wollongong, Australia who is already taking the world by storm.
His previous releases caught the attention of Communion Publishing UK, which saw him signing a deal where he joins a roster that includes the likes of Bear’s Den and Catfish and the Bottlemen.
It was co-produced by Ryan Miller before it was sent off to Josh Ager (Beabadoobee, Sam Fender, Holly Humberstone) in the UK for mixing, then back to Paul Blakey for mastering.
Talking about the single, Aidan explains, “Empty Spaces is a song written about my first big break up. This topic is pretty new territory for me songwriting wise, so it was an interesting experience trying gather all of the feelings I had at the time and turn it into this cheesy, moody yet fun indie pop track.”
