Emerging pop songstress Bryony releases new track ‘More Than Friends’

Back with her second release of the year, rising pop artist Bryony returns with indie-pop hit ‘More Than Friends’.

Gaining support from BBC Introducing, The Most Radicalist and EARMILK, ‘More Than Friends’ is sure to put Bryony’s name in lights.

On her new single, Bryony explains, “I wrote More Than Friends in the middle of lockdown – just as we were all starting to really miss normality. It’s about the experience of finding someone new when you’re so used to someone who doesn’t make you happy.

It’s such a great feeling early on in a relationship and I felt like in the midst of everything crazy going on I needed a song to pick me up and remind me how exciting life is.”

Inspired by Sigrid & Dagny, ‘More Than Friends’ pays homage to Robyn’s ‘Dancing on My Own’ in the chorus. A track that breathes happiness and growth, Bryony’s warm vocals guide like headlights in the fog.

Finding her way through lockdown by writing this special track, ‘More Than Friends’ was produced by Joe Cooper, and additionally produced and mixed by Jack Gourlay (Jess Glynne, Jack Garratt).
