South London based alt-pop songstress Cheska Moore returns with authentic music video for recently released anthem ‘Single Player Mode’. Telling the story of not relying on others for your own happiness, the track flows with independence and empowerment.

On the new release, Cheska told us, ‘Single player mode will always be my souvenir on how the lockdown affected me. Spending time alone with myself made me question if I was filling my time with things that I loved, and this lead me to realise how caught up I was with trying to make a career work that I’d forgot the things that use to bring me joy, like gaming.’

Inspired by revisiting her lifelong love for gaming, ‘Single Player Mode’ features 8-bit gaming sounds and lyrical metaphors left, right and centre. Illustrating the feeling of being disconnected during a time where everything went virtual, the liberating track turns a negative situation into something quite magical.

Visually, the video showcases Cheska enjoying her own company. Being your own ‘best friend’ and happy in yourself is a necessity, especially during the world’s current climate, Cheska Moore’s coming-of-age release

A mature track that will leave you reevaluating any toxicity around you, ‘Single Player Mode’ is a signature moment in Cheska’s career to date.
