Israel born, Los Angeles based artist Grace Blue returns with another string to her alternative pop bow. Titled ‘Hard Day‘, the exceptional new release was written about the daily struggles of adulthood.
While adulthood may feel repetitive and sometimes mundane, Grace Blue’s new single is far from that. The only repetitive part you’ll get from this track is sticking it on repeat to dance around your room to.
Upbeat, and fuelled with energy, ‘Hard Day’ is simply quite the opposite of a hard day. Instrumentally, the alt-pop track is bathed in commercial pop elements and indie sensibilities.
Grace mentioned, “When most of us were kids, we had big dreams and a lot of hope, and as time flew by we grew apart from most of those ideals in the chase after money and having a lot of responsibilities.
Hard Day is an intense and emotional scream from the imaginary 9 years old me, hiding in the back of my mind teasing me, saying: “Is this it? is this what we’ve become?” It talks about a generation full of adults that still feel like they don’t know what the hell they’re doing.”
