KOYO release new single ‘Out of Control’ ahead of their upcoming sophomore album ‘You Said It’
Returning with another upbeat slice of their repetoire, KOYO are the Leeds based quintet you need in your life. Waiting patiently for their eagerly awaited second album? ‘Out of Control’ is taken off their second album ‘You Said It’, due for release later this month.
Produced by Mike Horner (Everything Everything, Placebo, Franz Ferdinand) & Tom Orrell, the exquisite new single is a force to be reckoned with.
Vocalist Huw Edwards had this to say, ‘Out of Control was the last song we wrote for the album – it came together in an evening. It’s about wanderlust; getting itchy feet. When you feel like you just need to get away to have new experiences that you can feed off for a while. It’s born out of that feeling of excitement when you feel nothing is tying you down.
Nothing holding you back. It feels like life only throws that at you every now and again and this song is about making the most of it. It’s also about the frustration that comes with not being able to do these things.’
