Luna Pines return with dream-pop infused house track ’She Can’t See Me’

London based duo Luna Pines unveil desirable new single ‘She Can’t See Me’. Sounding like the lovechild of The Japanese House and Tycho, the dream-pop anthem uses dance elements to make listeners sway.

While lyrically, the track focuses on not feeling good enough, the mid tempo arrangement signifies that it won’t always feel like this. Detailing the low’s of self-doubt and the struggles of change, ‘She Can’t See Me’ feels engaging and sympathetic.

On the track, vocalist, guitarist and synth player of Luna Pines Lotte said, ‘I wrote ‘She Can’t See Me with my pal Thomas Trueman (Dokkodo Sounds &Laminate Pet Animal) just after I moved to London and things were very overwhelming for me. I think it’s so easy to feel left behind in this city, and that’s kind of what the song became about.

It’s a conversation to myself trying to explore all the relationships in my life and why I don’t feel good enough for so many people. It’s essentially me grappling with my self-worth, and the struggles I see normal people go through everyday.’’

Instrumentally, the structure glistens with swirling synths, reverberated beats and Lotte’s calming vocals. Prominently based around the house infused arrangement, there’s something about this track that feels soothing yet lively.

A stand out moment in the duo’s career to date.
