Folk-pop singer-songwriter Roma Rose releases ethereal new single ‘Stay Like This’
After a short hiatus, Roma Rose returns with a new beginning. A new name, new sound and new outlook, Roma’s a refreshing folk-pop artist that’s destined to steal your heart with her heartfelt music.
Returning with her final release of the year, ‘Stay Like This‘ is an upbeat synth-pop number with a fascinating rhythm.
Working with an exciting all female collective, Roma’s track was co-written and produced by Jessica Sharman (Ward Thomas, Hannah Grace, Sarah Darling), and mixed by Isabel Gracefield (Tom Walker, Christine and the Queens).
On the release, Roma told us, “This is the final track of 2020 for me and it’s gone in a bit of a different direction to the others, taking inspiration from Scandi pop and folklore. While my first two tracks explored the highs and lows of early motherhood, I wanted this one to be a pulling together and a new outlook – one where we don’t have to care as much about what is right and what is normal.
The lyrics were written through the eyes of my daughter, but we wanted the track to also work as a love song and as a sort of anthem for being true to yourself.”
