Rising indie-pop duo Talk Like Tiger’s showcase their empowering songwriting in new single ‘Annabel’s Calling’
‘Annabel’s Calling’ is the latest wonder from twins Charlotte and Stephanie aka Talk Like Tiger’s. Highly flavoured with a distinctive 80’s aura, the captivating soundscape was inspired by a character in Maggie O’Farrell’s book ‘This Must Be The Place’
On the release, the duo told us, “The song is about an inspirational woman who works hard, achieves success and gets everything that she wants. Annabel is strong and independent. She turns everything to gold and almost possesses supernatural powers. She captivates everyone and effortlessly attracts good things.
Annabel doesn’t care for fame, she cares for achieving her goals and she doesn’t let anything stop her. She knows what she wants and she gets it. We admire her and would love to experience what it’s like to be her, if only just for one day.”
