The Strange Days explore the mundane on ‘Skiffle’

Quirky guitar lines, unique vocals and minimal drums serve this track from The Strange Days very well.

A song about the mundane that isn’t very mundane at all.

Quirky guitar lines, unique vocals and minimal drums serve this track from The Strange Days very well.

On the surface, there’s nothing overly exciting about this track. But, give it a proper listen and there’s a real sense of personality and charm that shine through it reminiscent of Bowie, The Strokes and maybe even Fontaines D.C.

The energy is gripping, the vocals lead the track well and coming in at around 4 minutes the track does well to feel concise and compact.
