Bristol based quartet Kimbo Nice unleash feel-good anthem ‘Glory to the Highest’
Kimbo Nice share mellow number ‘Glory to the Highest’, and it radiates positivity in all the right places.
Having already received support from Spotify’s Hot New Bands, BBC Introducing and various sites across the web, it seems Kimbo Nice have the world in the palm of their hands.
Mixing blues with lo-fi indie rock, the track is built around a hypnotic groove that underlines a chirpy message.
Lead vocalist Ali of Kimbo Nice quotes, “the tracks about freedom and having a good time. I was feeling really good and about what was happening and wanting to stay in that place. It’s got a catchy chorus and a wicked ending and I got a little help from Martha with the first verse, which I appreciated.
So all in all. I’m happy with what we’ve put together as a band. James came through with a gorgeous bit of rhythm at the end to take us in to a glorious ending.”
Recorded at Humm Studios and produced by Dom Mitchison, “Glory to the Highest” is all about gaining perspective and living for each moment.
A track that we all could do within our lives, this track will definitely get your Friday evening moving in the right direction.
