London based alt pop artist Runrummer teams up with Brijs in latest single ‘Timeshare’
Out via Friday Records, ‘Timeshare‘ is the latest creation from Birmingham born, London based artist Runrummer. Teaming up with composer, producer and guitar-pop artist Brijs on the new track, the glistening anthem exceeds all expectations if that’s even possible.
The sort of track you want to stick on with a cocktail in one hand and a book in the other while you sit by a pool, ‘Timeshare’ is a vibrant, warm track that indicates summer has certainly come early.
Speaking about the release, Liv aka the mind behind Runrummer shares, “anyone else been craving a holiday over the last 12 months? Me too! So I wrote a song about it. Dreaming of hot summer days on the Costa Del Sol. This is summer in a song.‘
Timeshare’ expresses the blatant desire we’ve all been feeling over the past 12 months to run away on holiday; preferably somewhere exotic with pink mojitos and a mellow sea. It puts the middle finger up to lockdown with lush summer vibes and a Spandau Ballet inspired guitar hook.”
A force to be reckoned with in the music industry, Runrummer opened the BBC Introducing stage at BBC Radio 1’s Virtual Big Weekend. As well as being featured on Spotify’s editorial playlists such as New Music Friday, Alt-Pop and Peach, the only way is up for this songstress.
“Timeshare” is out now and it is easily one of the strongest collaborations this year has offered so far.
