London based electro-pop artist Andrei Lucas keeps the momentum with addictive new single ‘90’s Summer Cool’.
Drawing inspiration from his multicultural background having grown up in Romania, learning English in Canada and now living in the UK, Andrei Lucas creates a diverse soundscape throughout his songwriting.
Sharing his thoughts on the new single, Andrei states, “The track came about as an inspiration from music in the early 2000s. I’ve always been inspired by that era in pop culture and music and wanted to recreate that vibe.
The production is inspired by the likes of Jodeci, Prince, Gwen Stefani and Daft Punk – I wanted 90’s Summer Cool to have a twist from the source of inspiration and mix both nostalgic 90’s sounds with contemporary pop.”
Produced with the intent to trigger a nostalgic feeling yet refreshing uplifting sound, ’90’s Summer Cool’ is equipped with swirling synthesisers, a punching rhythm section and vivid electronic elements.
