The track is the fourth release from Skyler Stonestreet’s latest project
Long time CLOUT favourite Skyler Stonestreet is flourishing with her new indie pop project The Sunshine State and her fourth release ‘BOB’ is a wonderful example of the artist’s affable indie pop sensibilities.
The track is a carefree and effortlessly catchy riot, an ode to the recklessness of youth and the situations that we can find ourselves in that never really seemed to have any real kind of consequence. There is an impossibly captivating kind of nostalgia and summery fun that wraps itself around the sound. Skyler has gained significant acclaim for her work writing for a plethora of artists, and with every release for every project, she continues to establish herself as a generational talent.
“Bob is a classic bad boy,” says Skyler on the new single.”This song is bonfires and beer bottles crashing on the floor. A chipped tooth, a quick fling and the feeling that sometimes it doesn’t matter if the person is right or wrong for you because freedom and new adventure are the only thing on your mind.”
