The artist’s compliment each other seamlessly on the new release
Garrett Nash has been establishing himself as a more mature and well rounded artist as of late since switching over from his previous gnash moniker, and his new collaboration with slimdan is a wonderful showcase of the two artist’s talents.
The track, titled ‘Super Glue’ is a laid-back and introspective one that takes on a journey of self-acceptance and discovery. There is a nostalgic, almost conversational tone to the sound that creates a really grounded sense of honesty and authenticity, and pulls back the curtain in a really rousing and memorable way.
“There’s been a lot of change in my life over the last couple years,” Garrett shared. “’Super Glue’ is about accepting who you are while at the same time being grateful for that special someone who keeps you grounded. Danny & I both have that in our lives, so I’m glad we could put our differences aside & make a song to help serve as that mirror for everyone who needs it.”
“’Super Glue’ is the song that officially squashes the beef between Garrett Nash and slimdan,” slimdan added. “While I can’t get into detail over the complicated spat, I can say that this song is about loving people for who they are.”
