Since the release of their debut single ‘It’s Illusional’ in 2020, Reading based Lilac have been on the live circuit establishing their unique brand of what they like to call their “floral indie disco”.
The outfit have now followed it up with their second release ‘Losing Myself (In You)’, a wonderfully poised and emotive track that does a great job of continuing to showcase what makes the outfit so exciting and engaging. The track highlights a more dreamy and hazy side to their sound, with a really lush, laid-back feel and an effortlessly endearing atmosphere, building towards a rousing chorus that feels built for soaring sing-a-longs. Just two releases into their short career, the outfit have shown two distinct sides to their fun indie sound, both tied together by the sunny charisma and charm that they have.
