“My ex called me one night when I was feeling lonely in Nashville after moving here on my own.” Sophie says of the track. “I actually fell for the guy who produced my first few songs and was also my best friend here, and was rejected. So usually in a situation like this I would have answered my ex, but this time I decided to just write a song. It’s about realizing that you lose yourself in relationships and choosing not to do that even when you are at your lowest point. It’s better to “let the phone ring” than to fall back to something you’ve outgrown. This song is like my child and I hope you enjoy it”
