On new single ‘The Artist’, DC duo GLOSSER continue to showcase the wonderful sense of range and scope of their sound, providing a slick, stripped-back contrast to their more all-encompassing releases of late.
The track has a minimalist feel at heart, but that has done nothing to quell the sheer size of their hooks and the memorable, enchanting moments that the duo are growing increasingly renowned for. The more subdued nature of the track allows the outfit’s poignant, pointed songwriting to shine on ‘The Artist’, and provides Riley Fanning’s emotive vocals with the perfect platform to shine.
“I think ‘The Artist’ is in stark comparison to most of our music.” Riley says. “It’s very bare and stripped back, which is something we hadn’t tried before. It was also the very last song written for the album, so it’s almost in its own world”
