“This song was definitely one of the most fun to make from my upcoming project.” Libby says of the single. “I feel like I’ve watched myself and so many of my friends get caught in these compromising relationships, where the standard of how you should be treated just gets lower and lower every day. I wanted to explore that in a playful and emotional way. It’s kind of like if that meme were a song— ‘Our expectations for you were low but HOLY FUCK’.”
