The track is the 10th of the artist’s song-a-month-for-a-year project
Following a slew of upbeat and exciting new releases as part of his song-a-month-for-a-year project, Kahone Concept has sent us crashing back to earth with his poignant and instantly gripping new single ‘It’s Safe To Say I Have Regrets’, a captivating new release that sees the artist in a confessional, deeply personal mood.
The track builds in gradual and emphatic style, as the artist looks back on times that he perhaps hasn’t been as thoughtful or compassionate as he would like with a sense of disdain and regret. The thoughtful nature of the sound really sells the emotion of the situation, falling under the spell of an artist who can sometimes be hard to take seriously thanks to his tendency to dupe you with smoke and mirrors in charismatic and playful fashion. This track really seems to come from an earnest and real place though, and it provides a really compelling insight into the artist and his thought process.
