On their hard-hitting and dynamic new single ‘Savour The Flavour’, Australian band Off Judy continue to showcase their unapologetically fuzzy and chaotic brand of garage punk, as brash and explosive as it is melodic and anthemic and packed full of conviction and charm.
The new single has a sense of rawness to it throughout that feels visceral and primal, utilising a bass-heavy and feedback-soaked approach to create an atmosphere more akin to a live show than listening to a polished studio recording. The resonating bite of the vocals and the crushing and relentless instrumental keeps things feeling dynamic throughout, built to get your adrenaline racing and get you off your feet. Always renowned for their energetic style, the band seem to be pushing into harder, faster and louder territory as time goes on, and it continues to lead to increasingly impressive and memorable results.
