The new project is the revival of a childhood dream from the duo

As the last two members of five school who friends played music together and dreamt of becoming rock stars, Montreal duo marjorlaine are keeping their teenage dreams alive and providing it with a revival and chance of a second life, beginning with the release of their new debut single ‘Between Moon and Coffee’.

The track is the first single from the indie pop outfit’s upcoming debut EP On Shuttles or In Rockets, and bleeds with an authenticity and cleanness throughout that has a genuine and immersive appeal to it, buoyed by its captivating guitar hooks and an understated, yet catchy charm. The track explores that weird little moment between the end of one moment or day, and the start of another new one, the time in between where it is too late and also too early to feel like one or the other, and this feeling of introspection and thoughtful allure is captured expertly through a nuanced sound that leaves a quiet impression of you as a listener.
