“When I started this album, I had no idea what I wanted to say other than to sit down and sing and try to make sense of my pain,” Echos shares. The creation of “PAPERCUTS” began in an unforgettable session with collaborators. “The first song we wrote together sent chills down my spine. A lot of it was just freestyle lyrics on my end, humming whatever wanted to fall out of my mouth. Listening back to the session in tears made me realize the self I had lost due to a toxic relationship had finally come to the surface again.”
