The release serves as a powerful anthem for anybody who is missing someone
On her upbeat and dynamic new single ‘Rewind’, Nadia Vaeh crafts a track that serves as something of a tribute to all of the people that we miss and that we have lost, with the artist herself unfortunately losing her mom to suicide at the age of 17.
The track does a great job of putting an energetic and driven slant on a subject manner that could have easily worked out much more sombre and sad. Instead, it feels like a punchy celebration of the artist’s mom’s life and the lessons that she passed on, with the Atlanta native feeling as cutting edge and thoughtful as she ever has on the release. Powerful for a range of reasons and packed with a real emotional and stylistic fierceness, ‘Rewind’ is a memorable track that will stick with you for long after your listen.
