The track sees the exciting rising band continue to establish their distinctive style
Having blown us away when we first heard their single ’18’ from late last year, exciting emerging band Fringe Frontier have brought their sound into 2025 with the release of their new single ‘This City’, a jangly new ode to New York City and the band’s relationship with it.
There is a punky alternative rock flair to the sound, mixed in with the band’s more Americana style storytelling that provides it with their distinctive flavour and appeal. ‘This City’ is packed full of vivid imagery and gritty guitar hooks that create a really succinct flavour of the city and the experience and haunting electricity that you could expect within it, leaving a lasting impression on you as a listener and feeling quite unlike anything else you’re likely to hear soon.
