The track is the latest taste of VC Pines upcoming new EP Viole(n)t Colour
Following the release of his stellar recent singles ‘BREAK’ and ‘need 2 breathe’, VC PINES has returned with the similarly excellent new single ‘Made 2 Luv’, a track that sees the artist also collaborating with singer Josie Man.
The new single sees the artists channel some of their frustrations and disillusionment in slick and captivating fashion, honing in on themes like the music industry, the UK’s false promises, and the illusion of success in London with a passion and energy that feels palpable throughout. The way that the two artists vocals meld together and create something that feels so soulful but so raw and pissed off makes for rousing listening, and provides a great third glimpe into VC Pines’ upcoming new EP Viole(n)t Colour.
Speaking about ‘Made 2 Luv’, VC Pines says “Made 2 Luv was born out of frustration at the music industry, the UK, the way we’re sold this dream in London and actually it’s all fugazi, yet we still wear a smile and pretend nothing’s wrong which I feel artists have had to become great at in order to do anything at all..”
