Whether ripping into hard-edged garage rock bangers or having more thoughtful moments of introspection and catharsis, one thing that remains consistent with Australian band Off Judy is how raw and authentic their work feels, with the heartfelt nature of their writing and style pouring through every facet of what they do.

A track that truly embodies this idea is new single ‘Lean In’, a track about accepting the way that things shift and change in life over time, and rolling with it and making the most of things regardless. There is a really poignant and nostalgic feel to the sound and the writing, making for probably their most resonating and relatable piece of work to date, and signalling that Off Judy are more than capable of creating more serious counterparts to their usual carefree, riotous bangers.

Vocalist, Finn Mcildowie reflects on the track. “Lean in is about embracing where you’re at, letting go of the past and accepting that you never really know what’s going on or what to do next so just lean into it”
