The track sees the artist unveiling her new alter ego and upcoming EP Dolly Zoom
An artist who’s ever-evolving and creative alternative pop sound has provided listeners with a tonne of immersive and exciting moments over the last few years, Welsh born and London based Greta Isaac has continued to demonstrate her lively and dynamic appeal with the release of her new single ‘Soft Scoop Talking Dog’.
The single sees the artist unveiling her new alter ego Dolly Zoom, a character that explores the most extreme side of our impulses and behaviours and embraces them. That is exactly what the track itself serves as, pushing the colourful and poppy nature of Greta’s sound to some of its catchiest and glitteriest territory to date, bursting with personality and energy and providing the perfect introduction to her upcoming EP, also titled Dolly Zoom.
“Soft Scoop Talking Dog is our janky, explosive introduction to Dolly – born from the feeling of being trapped within a claustrophobic room of how we think we should look or behave or speak. Dolly kicks that door down, emerges from the chaos outside, grabs you by the hand and grins at you through a seductive haze of (vape) smoke and promises, she whispers, “come with me, it doesn’t have to be this way”, comments Greta on the new single.
