Jemma says “Good Guy sat as a rough piano demo on my phone for years. I always knew I wanted to write it, but it needed time to sit while I processed things. It’s about someone who looks like a ‘good guy’ on the surface but underneath, there’s something much darker going on. You almost want to feel sorry for them, but then you remember they completely messed you up. Writing this song felt like taking my power back.”
