A celebrated and all-conquering UK pop artist who has amassed millions of streams along the way, Grace Davies is somebody who has continued to defy expectations and build upon her sound and appeal over the last few years, with each new release from the Lancashire artist feeling as exciting and dynamic as the last.
‘Do or Die’ is a track that has all of the fire and excitement that we could expect from Grace, explosively wading into a narrative about a relationship breaking down and fading out when you’re the person who is to blame. There is a vibrancy and energy to the track as Grace lists off the ways that she has taken liberties and explored other options when the braver and more decent thing to do would have been to end the faltering relationship. It makes for a really fun and chaotic pop track though, and we the lyrics about having to keep secrets and the conflicted feelings of guilt just make it all the more captivating.
