Hey! We love your new single ‘Leave The Light On’, what more can you tell us about it?

Leave The Light On is a song about emotional availability — holding space for someone you care about, even when neither of you are exactly where you want to be. It’s a letter to anyone who’s ever yearned for someone through hard times, but still leaves the door open for the possibility of their return. The kind of love that still feels like home, no matter how much time passes.

What was the process like putting it together?

The process was very intentional and honestly, vulnerable. I wrote it during a moment of deep reflection, just sitting with my emotions and letting them lead. The production matched exactly how I felt in that space — moody, introspective, and honest. Nothing was forced; it all came together organically.

What were your biggest influences when creating it?

Emotionally, it was drawn from real life honest conversations, anxiousness, the excitement of wanting to spend time with someone who isn’t in my presence. All of that found its way into the track. The song also felt really nostalgic to me, so I leaned into that old school R&B energy. I wanted it to make you sit with your feelings and press rewind to feel them all over again.

What was the inspiration and thought behind the music video?

J Visuals is so talented — he created the treatment and I trusted him completely. I wanted the visuals to reflect the sultry, intimate feeling of the song, and he brought that to life. The video captures what it feels like to be with that person — the energy, the memories, the little moments that stay with you. It’s less about telling a literal story and more about showing the emotion behind it.

What else do you have planned for the near future?

I’ve got more music on the way! Leave The Light On is just the first chapter in a much larger story I’m telling. There are more visuals coming, live performances, and more that I cannot say at the moment. I’m in a creative flow right now — writing more, booking sessions (literally as we speak!), and pouring into what I believe will be my best work yet. I’m building something real and can’t wait to share more soon. S/O to the Neit Freaks!
