The artist utilises her soft and engrossing modern pop sound to delve into the conflict that comes with somebody trying to come over and reignite a spark with you, with your judgement clouded by the nostalgia and memories of the past that always seem to sway your more logical thinking. Through the wistful and catchy nature of her sound, the artist deduces that some things are best left in the past, despite what your brain is trying to make you think, and all of the temptations and promises that come with it.
