The track is the artist’s fourth single of an era-defining 2025

With the release of his endlessly thoughtful and powerful new single ‘Kids’, exciting pop-rock artist D3lta delves into the increasingly uncertain world around us, and what is means for the future of the children of today that have to grow up in a world that feels increasingly numb and despondent in response to the endless tragedy and hardship that seems to surround us every day.

The almost sarcastic “the kids will be alright” serves as a harrowing response to the state of the world, a gut-punch that underlines the fear that the artist has for the next generation in increasingly fraught times. The atmospheric soundscape has an almost David Bowie-esque feel to it, with the artist’s vocals doing a great job of selling the gravity of the situation and reacting to the hopelessness that seems to surround us more and more in recent times. An excellent new release that feels as poignant and heartfelt as it is compelling and memorable.

“The refrain ‘The kids will be alright’ doesn’t arrive as reassurance, but is a chilling mantra of denial, the lie we tell ourselves while the world burns,” says D3lta. “As what feels heaviest, is knowing that children growing up in places of conflict like Gaza and beyond, have no fault in any of it. They were simply born into circumstances beyond their control, and it feels like we’re sitting back without doing enough to change it.”
