Bilingual rising artist Taya Elle continues to shine and connect with listeners on her second single ‘Rainy Days’
A creative and expansive modern alternative pop artist who melds English and Spanish to create seamless, immersive narratives that cross borders and say what she grew up thinking she never could, Taya Elle is somebody who serves as a beacon of authenticity and heart, and her poignant, captivating narratives do a great job of reinforcing that.
Her sophomore single ‘Rainy Days’ follows on from her stunning debut ‘Don’t Love You’, and sees her taking a reflective look back on themes like childhood and the ways that an absence of love and compassion can influence and shape the ways that we love ourselves as we grow older. It is a heartfelt and at times painful narrative that many listeners may relate to and find that they resonate with, and the way that the artist opens her heart and shares her journey on the track makes for a warm message of solidarity and kinship for any listeners with similar experiences.
“It was scary to share at first.” Taya says of the track. “But I wanted to explore what happens when affection is missing and how we learn to rebuild it, a topic many quietly relate to.”
