The resonating new release sees the artist reflecting on her late father and the love that he had for the sun and the summer, with this time of year amplifying the emotions that she has and offering ever-present reminders of him. There is a really anthemic and rousing feel to the track and it makes for a really compelling tribute to him, with the track packing as much fire and warmth as the sun itself once it kicks into gear and really gets going. “This song is about the ever-present longing I have for my father,” Charlotte explains. “He absolutely loved being in the sun and being as tanned as humanly possible. Whenever I picture him, he’s in the garden, covered in factor 15, with a glass of whiskey by his feet and a border collie by his side.”
