Her new single ‘So Annoying’ is a tongue-in-cheek and personality-driven track about the weird and irrational ways that we get jealous of our friends and their good qualities. There is a really conversational and petty feel to the track and the way that it progresses, underscored by the artist’s stream-of-consciousness writing that literally feels like her spilling out her thoughts in humourous fashion. It is a track that isn’t to be taken too seriously, continuing to build upon the vast world that Holly has built around her sound ahead of the release of her upcoming new album Technicolour.
