The track comes ahead of the release of the genre-defying project’s upcoming debut LP
Fiercely expansive and uncompromising in their approach, Milan-based electronic and AV artist 555n is somebody who has a style and unsettling appeal that feels quite unlike anybody else, utilising a blend of electronics and human touch to create an uncanny style that doesn’t quite feel entirely like either.
The latest single from the project is ‘4rm1 4ut0n0m3’ (Armi Autonome), a track that has a really sense of darkness and impending doom to it, inspired by classic anime soundtracks and the increasingly looming reality of autonomous warfare that surrounds us. The track feels like it grips you with its unpredictable approach, dropping you into a warzone of bullet shells and wailing that feels vivid and intense throughout. ‘4rm1 4ut0n0m3’ is a listening experience that feels unlike any other, and one that has an unrelenting darkness to it that commands your attention throughout.
