The new single is pulled from their 2025 album Escape to Ourworld
An immersive and thoughtful new release from their acclaimed LP Escape To Ourworld, Fast Trains’ latest single ‘Holly Takes Me Home Again’ is a track that reinforces the Portsmouth, England band’s immersive blend of the nostalgic and modern, and the heart and thought that they pour into everything they do.
The new single has a Muse or Radiohead-like appeal to it, with its sound growing from the atmospheric and brooding to the more anthemic as it progresses, allowing singer, songwriter, and producer Tom Wells to flex his capabilities for crafting ambitious and rousing sounds that take you on sonic journeys in compelling fashion. This stylish appeal does a great job of feeling both adventurous while still feeling grounded and rooted in rawness and a place that feels very real, and you can feel that reverberate through every facet of the track throughout.
