The track is her first new single since the release of her lauded 2025 EP The Fool
Melding heartfelt, emotionally charged storytelling with a hard-hitting alternative rock edge and a fiercely impassioned vocal performance, latest Sarina single ‘Hell has frozen over’ is a track that continues to showcase the Tokyo artist’s vibrant appeal and resonating lyrics.
The new release sees the artist honing in on themes like gaslighting and feeling alone in a relationship, constantly being made to go around in circles and feel like you’re going crazy, knowing that its time to walk away and put yourself first. The harder and softer aspects of the sound do a great job of conveying this push and pull and the conflicting emotions that come with such a relationship, but the defiance and strength in Sarina’s vocals and the more anthemic moments give it a really empowering edge.
