Boasting nostalgic 80s synths, spacious pop landscapes and melodies to get up and dance to, ‘Always’ is a track that is packed full of excitement and fun, and sees Tia Gostelow‘s run of form continue in an emphatic way.

Enlisting Holy Holy to add an extra dimension to track and provide a juxtaposition to the artists signature vocal style, the track is also a one that sees Tia taking the tentative step to release a track written by someone else, namely Australian band The Money War. ‘Always’ is a track that is a testament to the art of collaboration, and sees all of the artists involved displayed in a huge, shining light.

Lyrically it was a perfect fit for Tia, blending into the overall arc of the album, and emotionally as a young adult, “I really connected with it lyrically straight away, when I first heard it I had the feeling it was about being in love with someone but not physically being able to be with them and also pushing through all of the hard parts in a relationship because you know the good outweighs the bad.” Tia has said of the track. “It just fit perfectly within the record as I’ve really highlighted my feelings about being away from my loved ones, feeling lonely and I guess just trying to figure out who I am as a 20-year old woman.”
