Sydney singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Aless Arias has begun to establish her swirling, nostalgic sound on ‘Evolve’, the encouraging new debut single from the exciting upstart.
The track is about feeling the need to change and grow, and acknowledging that the only person who can truly help you do this is yourself. From the thoughtful instrumentation to the textured, measured vocals from the artist, the track has a really rousing and engaging feel to it, carrying a sense of gravity and importance through its depth and poise. Lush melodies do a great job of bringing the track to life, and add a bit of sparkle to the often laid-back nature of the sound. ‘Evolve’ is a really encouraging debut from Aless, and does a wonderful job of building anticipation for her upcoming debut EP Blossoming.
