“The song is an ode to the sticky sweet sensation of being in the early stages of a relationship.” Alex says of the track. “It’s about how time appears to fly by when you’re with someone special, and how they become the focal point of your every thought. I think the production of the song also captures the essence of that feeling, with its soft synths and guitar licks. If tunnel vision was a song, ‘Super Sonic’ would be it. I remember listening to a lot of Beach House and Cocteau Twins at the time I wrote it.”
