‘Until I Die’ is the focus track from Anna Shoemaker’s debut album, Everything is Fine (I’m Only on Fire).
Anna Shoemaker is an artist that is on an absolute tear as of late, catching our attention consistently with her unique brand of cutting edge pop.
The latest of these tracks is her new single ‘Until I Die’, the focus track from Anna Shoemaker’s debut album, Everything is Fine (I’m Only on Fire). The track is stacked full of killer pop hooks and the artist’s revered razor-sharp lyricism. Taking on a more straight-forward and a more heavy, rock-orientated approach to some of her other recent releases, the track continues to establish the artist as someone capable of crafting exciting and memorable sounds, and someone not to be pigeon-holed. With the release of Everything Is Fine and the stellar singles that have accompanied it, Anna looks to be ascending to new, loftier territory.
Anna elaborates on the album process: “Everything Is Fine (I’m Only on Fire) is made up of bits and pieces of my diary over the past two weird years. It’s about a fascination with self destruction but also redemption. It’s about forgiving yourself when you have every reason to hate yourself. It’s about falling in love when you have every reason not to trust. This album is a destruction fantasy. It’s about burning down expectations until the only thing left is you.”
