One of the most subversive and unique tracks that you’ll hear all day. B-Js provide a scathing critique of the conspiracy theorists and what the outfit describe as “tin foil soldiers” in relation to things like 5G and the coronavirus pandemic.
Their experimental electronic sound feels reminiscent at times of acts such as The Prodigy, Enter Shikari and Astroid Boys, and provides some genuinely intense and rousing moments. ‘5G’ boasts a chorus that is far more catchy and memorable that any satirical track about conspiracy theorists has any right to be. Between it’s bouncy electronics, unique and captivating rapping styles, and a subject manner that the track feels both tongue-in-cheek and genuinely disgusted about, this is a track that has some incredible moments and is rightly gaining attention as a result.
