There is a really unique feel to Bailey Kate and her writing, that feels both timeless and captivatingly modern. With her debut full length Within / Without forthcoming, the true extent of this prowess is yet to be revealed, but we have our money on it flowing effortlessly through seamlessly thoughtful and rousing tracks, based on the evidence that we have so far.
The latest example that we have of this is the artist’s new single ‘Care’, from the LP. A cautionary tale of the importance of prioritising your mental health and taking self care seriously while doing all of the other things that get in the way. Bailey and her band do a wonderful job of capturing that feeling of relentlessness and life getting away from you, even alongside her often soothing and delicate voice. The track is a exceptional glimpse into the upcoming album and hints that something really great may be around the corner.
