Putting a thoroughly unique spin on the modern love song, Bakers Eddy have crafted one of the more fun and unexpectedly brash and honest releases of the year.

The track, the first release from their upcoming 2022 debut album Love Boredom Bicycles, is entrenched in realism, glorifying a relationship both at its best and at its terrifying worst. The unique personality of the outfit is doused over the track and its creative video, and the melodic and carefree nature of the sound makes sure that lyrics like “my baby’s like cigarettes when she’s killing me” never feel too dark or out of place. With the album set for release in March next year, this is an exciting glimpse at what is to come from the charismatic outfit.

Speaking on the new single the band said: “It’s about the push and pull in relationships and the ups and downs, cause sometimes one minute you’re cuddling in the kitchen, the next chef knives are flying across the room. It’s never always perfect but that’s part of it.”
