The track is the artist’s first release since acclaimed 2019 mixtapes BOZO and CANVAS2033
Sometimes you hear an artist or a sound and it feels so irresistible and infectious and packs this indelible kind of x factor that feels almost overwhelming. Barny Fletcher is one of these artists, and latest release ‘Click’ might be his greatest offering yet.
His first release since 2019 sees the artist still spinning with boundless energy and enthusiasm, and his summery alt-pop sound has never felt more alive, fizzing and popping with his relentless charisma and charm. ‘Click’ may just be the sound of the summer, impossibly fun, effortlessly enjoyable and endlessly replayable.
“We wrote this in mid-2020 at Josef Page’s place down in Peckham Rye,” comments Barny. “I wanted to make something in the same vein as ‘Hey Ya’ or ‘Feel Good Inc’ – something upbeat, that sounds like summertime.” ‘Click’ arrives alongside a playful video which Barny created in collaboration with his brother, Oscar Fletcher.
