The release of their brand new EP BESTFRIEND HAS AN IDENTITY CRISIS has seen listeners and tastemakers alike continuing to shower Bestfriend with deserved acclaim and reverence for their shimmering alt-pop sound and the thoughtful and honest charm that comes with it.

The band explains, “One of the titles we tossed around for this one was ‘The Grief’ because that’s really, wholly what it’s about. It’s about the accumulated rust and wear we’ve picked up over the years but never really had the time or attention to do anything about. It’s about the depths of those feelings and the mirrors they can hold up to you in the latest and quietest hours of your nights.”
